In Pakistan the rapidly growing inflation has given rise to factors such as women participating more and more in the jobs along men. The increased trend of women entrepreneurs has also given men a tough time. A survey reports that more and more are now encouraged to join sales and marketing sector which was previously thought to be a purely male oriented job. According to World Bank Employment to population ratio of Pakistan for females is 15+. Employment to population ratio is the proportion of a country’s population that is employed. Women in this sector have achieved huge goals and are still striving to achieve goals in the longer run. successful entrepreneurs
There are women as entrepreneurs who are also emerging as successful entrepreneurs like Kalsoom Lakhani, the founder and CEO of Invest2Innovate she provides support to seed stage social enterprise and help them to get access to capital in new markets. If we talk about her qualifications, so she is a well educated lady as she has received her bachelor’s from University of Virginia and a Master’s Degree from George Washington University. There are women who are doing tremendous jobs as socialentrepreneurs. Mashal Chahudhry, she is educating the people in computer studies. Her students are those who come from low-income families and she educates them for free. She is gathering resources in this respect on her own. According to Mashal, it is the first step and that she needs to work even harder on her project. Then the simple and a pure workaholic, that’s Rabia Garib, she is the Chief Executive of Toffee TV. Toffee TV is a great learning-aid that helps children learn through stories, songs and many fun activities in Urdu. In addition to this she is the co-founder of Rasala Publications, which focuses on IT trade. She has been honored with Ladies Fund Trailblazer Award, for being a female role model and high achiever in Pakistan.
